Exodus 22:20-26, Psalm 18:2-4,47,51 & Matthew 22:34-40.
Following Jesus and the prophets stretches our lives, conscience, wallet, breadbasket and energy. We pray today’s psalm for strength in God as we accept today’s Gospel challenge to love God and neighbor.
Some folks think love is only a feeling whereas love is an action verb to people of faith who view neighbor as all humanity. No matter how we feel we are to demonstrate love. God’s grace kicks in as we love those who we do not know or fear or distrust.
An urgent plea to love our neighbor comes from Rochester Alliance of Communities Transforming Society,
