2023-24 Joint Assumption/Resurrection Parish Pastoral Council Nomination Form

NOMINATE a friend, a family member, someone from a parish ministry, or yourself to serve on our Joint Parish Pastoral Council (JPPC). 

The council serves as a sounding board for the pastor and strives to promote communication and collaboration among parish organizations and between the parish, the bishop, the diocese, and the universal Church. We meet for 90 minutes on the second Monday of the month. Members typically serve for three years and are eligible to serve again after a one-year break.

Nominating someone doesn’t obligate them to serve. Nominees will be contacted to ask whether they are willing and able to run. After receiving additional information about the council and commitments, the nominee can confirm or withdraw from consideration.

Serving as a member of the JPPC is a rewarding experience and a great way to learn more about our parishes and their ministries. Members also have the opportunity to get to know the many wonderful parishioners from both Assumption and Resurrection who give of their time and talent generously to our parishes.
